Help Wanted

I'm looking for some advice on different styles of art. I generally just use prismacolor pencils. I need help on lots of things though...what kind of tools to use, tips on getting proportions right..0.o...big problem of mine...and ways to come up with inspiration. I'm in a rut! blah. Anyways, anybody got ideas let me know.
